Mechanical Fastener
In the case of hot vulcanized joints consisting of more than two belt rolls on one conveyor, we recommend that the last joint should be continued with fasteners till the initial stretch of all the belt lengths has been completed. It is easier and much less time-consuming to cut open a fastener joint, with additional stretched length, and re-join with another set of fasteners until all belt lengths on a conveyor have reached their permanent elongated lengths.
